Review: Another sci fi movie with a twist to storyline. Full of action, suspense and drama the sci fi is set in the Los Angeles area where friends live off the city life. Suddenly aliens appear from nowhere and the unexpected happens leading military to take action. However the safety plans of the characters lead to zero success while being futile in face of unstoppable danger. The aliens are wanting to secure own continued survival with delicious goodies. The fragility and smallness of earth has been shown to be vulnerable to such alien attacks. Although the movie theme regarding the aliens is making a distinct appeal in area of fiction and fantasy, the disasters and delusions to audience are a bit too much. This is the weak part. Another remake of the sic fi zone would be expected to change with story and probably cast to make it better. Probable highlights of the cold truth and seemingly assuring alternatives do not exactly personify any great heroic appeal either. The enthusiasm and zest for survival do make the movie likeable. Then the movie is a good pastime like many other sci fi action films.
