Review: The genre for animation is ridden with many fanfare and delight for movieholics both in the young and old age. The movie theme is the ending of the Shakespeare original story and it does not easily fit into the positioning for children especially if made for animation. Yet the clever and deft handling of marketing of movie is greatly subdued by enthusiasm for movie. The animation as often is replete with sights ,sounds ,setups ,gags and lights. There is a manner by way of which the audience is still captivated to the movie not necessarily the context which in itself lends a dark ending. The family theme is central to marketing of the movie while the aesthetic aspect of touching end makes for itself. The market positioning has been saved due to family end of segment from being an animated movie while the ethics and moral side of the story is an indication of being on the side of youngsters and old folk alike. This allows for freedom of evaluation and gets the box office running with greater audiences supporting repeat views. The ability of movie in bringing a similar end as compared to the original is by making a compatible portrayal of storyline and end. Thus a magnificent movie apart from the normal animation movies brings larger audiences to cinema halls. Attractiveness and learning ethics brings relevance to watching movie again apart from normal dubbing.
I saw the film last night with my 7 and 10 year old daughters, and found myself enjoying the movie much more than I expected to. Is the concept absurd? Sure, but the writers made plenty of clever use of that absurdity, with some great sight gags and setups.
