Review: A heavily dramatized version of what is a life sketch of the biography of a ballet dancer. The story is nothing but ordinary, fiery, and clever. Ballet is described through the narration as one of being repulsive to the onlooker – difficult and gruesome. The depiction of the paradox implies the ability of the dancer to bring harmony back into her life , with elaborate routines and the rigors of grown up life in the city. The ability of the director in portraying the character and ability to bring respect to profession and at same time becoming livelier with it, casts doubts in mind of the choreographer .That is the reason for the title Black Swan instead of white swan. The marketing based on the brand personality is based on human efforts in front of life’s challenges and the profession in particular. The promotions are based on the marketing ability of the central theme of the character . Again the inability in bringing a balance to her own life and expectations with those of the profession, add to the central theme. The cast consists of ballet dancer portrayed by Natalie Portman. It is a good movie for those expecting drama and horror.
